A couple of weeks ago, I attended the most beautiful outdoor wedding I think I’ve attended at Glen-Ella Springs Inn about 45 minutes outside of Atlanta, GA. G. Boo’s baby girl married her high-school sweetheart and it was absolutely breathtaking.
I ordered THE perfect dress a month prior to the wedding and wouldn’t you know, it didn’t arrive in time. So the evening before we were scheduled to head to this quaint little town (I was in Memphis), I had to rush out to find a nice dress. I was so desperate after searching high and low and not finding anything I liked. My last stop was Dillard’s and Oh My God!!! They are like the wedding/cocktail/prom/special occassion dresses capital. I was floored at their massive selections!!! I was asked to wear navy since I am ‘step-mom’.
I actually found six dresses that I liked for the wedding and two for the rehearsal dinner. I ended up purchasing two dresses for the wedding (both sold out). I couldn’t make up my mind. They one I didn’t wear, I plan on returning. And I decided on this dress for the rehearsal dinner. (This pin-stripe dress is at the end of the post.) Next spring, I plan on having it shortened so that I can wear it more often.
Oh yeah, my original dress was waiting for me when I got home. #sigh
I have listed my favorite choices for dresses to wear to any fall wedding at the end of the post that are pretty affordable. Let me know what you think.
And now, my favorite fall wedding guest dresses:
1 (Great for summer or fall)| 2 (My original dress but in navy) | 3 (So cute & dainty!) | 4 (Christmas office party dress too)5 (Top cute with a pencil skirt) | 6 (This set may be my favorite)| 7 (Great for a date night at the theater) | 8 (Yes Hunni!)
Do you have any fall weddings to attend soon? The great thing about fall weddings is you can choose soo many styles, long or short sleeves.
Thank you so much for reading. And as always, have a beautiful day.
