Twirling in the Holidays + Burgundy Maxi Dress

Holiday Maxi Dress

I first showcased this burgundy maxi dress last year as part of a Three-Part Valentine’s Day series (See that here). I loved it then and I still love it now. When we were in the planning stages of our London trip, I scoured hotel ballrooms specifically for this dress. (London recap this week, I promise.) The ballroom at the Waldorf Hilton London was absolutely gorgeous, bright, and airy. I could just close my eyes and imagine a 1930s event taking place and me walking into the ballroom.

I was so excited to take photos at this hotel in this dress. It was an absolutely marvelous shoot. Talk about happy! Happy until I saw the proofs. The majority of the photos were blurry. My heart sank and I could have cried. So it was VERY easy finding photos for this blog post because very few of them were clear. OK, enough of the pity party.

About the dress: It’s gorgeous! I practically love just about every maxi dress. #nosecret I love the deep wine color! I felt beautiful in it. I twirled and twirled and twirled in it! As you can see, it’s a very twirlable dress and would make for great Holiday photos. And the icing on the top: It’s VERY affordable. The only thing missing was a cocktail in hand!

Pretty color & good fit on this gown. You did get some great shots. My favorite is the last one. You could even frame these.

Where do you find your fabulous photo shoot locations? Just so fitting for the occasion! Your maxi dress in deep burgundy wine is just gorgeous. I can’t pull off maxis but you do it so stunningly. This would be perfect for a special holiday party.

Hehe. The pics on the piano. OMG, those are gorgeous and all the right levels of extra. The dress is a stunner. Even with the blurryness you captured the dress beautifully.

Oh Candy! You are gorgeous and your dress is a dream!! It’s a pity many of your pictures were blurry but the ones you posted are absolutely fantastic!! I never look good in this kind of wine or muted reds because I’m so pale, I try to dress in more vivid colours, but I would like so much to be able to rock such an elegant color!!
