Slip dresses and motos are a match made in style heaven. And hopefully this trend will stick around for a whole. I actually wore a similar look but with a pleated midi skirt (see that here) and got tons of #thumbsup from you guys! Thank you!!!
I’ve had this slip dress since late spring and never wore it. As most of you know, I have serious issues with my upper body…more specifically my arms, wide back, and broad shoulders. I really love this slipdress, but I knew I wouldn’t wear it til the weather got a bit cooler. I knew I’d need to wear a moto jacket or open-front cardigan to cover those unpleasant areas.
I paired this look with sock booties, but it’s still perfectly ok to wear with ankle-strap sandals…at least in the South it is. As far as I’m concerned, this is the quintessential date night outfit. Now I just need to find this dress in black and maybe silver.
In my next post (Friday), I will share how I styled my second (and unexpected) slipdress look…a look I think I prefer more than this one! So be on the lookout for that.
As you read this, I am enroute to LONDON!!!! I’ve been wanting to visit for as long as I can remember and I’m finally heading there! I’m not one to get along with cold and wet weather and I hear that’s how it is this time of year there. At this point, I seriously don’t care. I’m just estatic to make this journey and explore. Make sure you follow me here (or on the sidebar) on Instagram so see all I see, where I go, what I’m wearing, where I’m staying, what I eat, and all the goods and deets! I want to share this journey with you!!!
And just so you know, I will soon be in the process of changing up my blog layout/theme. So if it’s seems things are quite right here, just know I’m changing and improving…all for my one year blogging anniversary. Can’t believe it’s been just about a year!!! Ahhh…
Thank you so much for reading. I love having you here. Grab a glass of wine and stay a while. And as always, have a beautiful day and weekend. XOXO
