Fall is actually my favorite season of the year…particularly because I have the luxury wearing both summer AND fall items for quite a while. I love how I can pair my summer pieces with my fall pieces without a hitch. Last fall, I wore fall sweaters over summer dresses quite often and posted about it a couple of times. (here and here).
Today, I am sharing how I’m transitioning one of my favorite summer blazers for fall. What I love best about this blazer is it looks like it could be an actual fall blazer because of the fall colors…dark cream with burgundy pinstripes. It’s also wonderful that the fabric is very cool but not too thin which is perfect for fall.
Sweaters and blazers are the easiest and quickest way to turn a summer outfit into a fall outfit without much effort. Doing so will give you more wear of your yummy summer pieces that you may not be ready to pack away yet!
Do you have summer pieces that you’re just not ready to put away yet? Have you figured out how to transition them for the fall? I’d love to know! Thank you so much for reading. And as always, have a beautiful day! XOXO, Candy
Also, if you are in the Memphis area, I would love to invite you to come out tomorrow (10-11-18) and support the Grace House of Memphis, whose mission is to provide a safe place and home for alcoholic women to get sober with the support of other women suffering from the same disease. For every pair of Naot shoes tried on, they will donate a pair to Grace House of Memphis. This event, sponsored by Naot Footwear, will be held at Kaufman Shoes from 12 – 7pm (6515 Poplar Ave, Ste 101, Memphis, TN 38119). I look to forward to seeing you there!!!
And be on the lookout (coming soon) on how I styled these boots on Instagram. You can best believe these babies will be on heavy rotation this fall!!!
