I am not a supermodel, or even a regular model…nor will I ever be! And let me tell you why. Models shoot in some of the most beautiful places and desirable climates…sometimes. Sometimes they have to shoot in temps below 20*…just like I did with this shoot. When models accept work, they are obligated to shoot in whatever conditions the brand set up. I, on the other hand, have a choice. I don’t know WHAT possessed me to shoot in temps so low. But trust me, it will NEVER happen again! #neversaynever Normally, each shoot lasts about 30 minutes. I could only give 10 minutes for this shoot.
But enough about that. I did a post for The Perfect Dress to Wear to a Fall Wedding (see that post here). When I saw this dress, I immediately fell in love with it. I wish I’d had this dress for NYE. Maybe I would have gone out somewhere. But since I didn’t, my next thought was how it was the perfect dress to wear to a winter wedding.
The embroidered detailing and scalloped hemming of this dreamy dress are paired in perfect harmony. And the gold and black lace-infused mesh bell-sleeves really makes this dress stands out. This dress wasn’t available in my size. But I definitely plan on exchanging this dress for the right size and find somewhere to wear this dress. Chic!
A faux fur wrap like this or this would be a great addition to the look. When it comes to picking a color scheme for a winter wedding, I usually stick to black or jewel tones (burgundy, emerald green, navy, etc). These colors also tend to flatter most skin tones!
Thank you so much for reading. I love having you here. And as always, have a beautiful day!
