If you follow me on Instagram, you should have seen my posts and MANY IG Stories during Memphis Fashion Week 2018. This was my first attendance and I was amazed!!! There were many events going on, but I tried to stick to the official ones. There were quite a few Memphis Blogger Babes there and I most definitely enjoyed seeing those I already knew as well as meeting those I’d never met before.
Memphis Fashion Week 2018 Headliner Runway Show was held at the fabulous Graceland’s Presley Motor Museum. We were treated to fabulous collections starting with Memphis’ own T I E N A. Daniel Maganta, This Is Sloane, Nigerian designer Ituen Basi and Rachel Roy rounded out the show. The vibe was retro, energetic, and oh so dynamic!
This was my first Fashion Week experience and let me tell you, it was awesome and it blew right on by. Here’s how my weekend went: Trunk Show, dinner, Headliner fashion show, Photo Shoot, Influencer Luncheon, and Local designer fashion show. I had so much fun and can’t wait to see what 2019 has in store!
Because this was my first time attend Fashion Week, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. While I had such a fun and fabulous time, I will do certain things differently and prepare sooner.
And let me also say that the outfits I’m wearing in this post were gifted to me by the Rachel Roy team. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I felt absolutely beautiful! And thank you to Memphis Fashion Week and Memphis Fashion Design Network for the invite and such an amazing experience. And last but not least, thank you to Restaurant Iris for hosting the Influencer Luncheon. Everything was simply beautiful and the meal was mouth-watering!
Have any of y’all ever attended your local Fashion Week? I’d love to hear about your experience! One of my goals is to attend NYFW in 2019 or 2020. I hear they are just so much fun and full of photo opportunities/shoots!
Thanks so much for reading. I love having you here. And as always, have a beautiful day. – XO –
