How to Incorporate Fall Into Your Home

How to Incorporate Fall Into Your Home

!!!Happy National Vodka Day!!!

Today I’m sharing a few tips for incorporating fall into your home decor with Purity Vodka (and it doesn’t mean you have to go out and buy a bunch of stuff). Because who doesn’t love a little cocktail while decorating?!?

Because I’m bi-citied (Is that really a term?!? We have homes in Atlanta and Memphis), I usually have to decorate for two homes. Because of this, one home gets a few new items while the other home gets leftovers from the previous year. But no matter what, I always enjoy buying new items as well as pulling out our fall items out of storage.

SO, let’s get into it, shall we? Some of my favorite ways to add some seasonal touches in our home without breaking the bank. Because that’s what KUWC is all about, right?!?

1. Add some faux fur and knit blankets. It’s no secret I love faux fur, and a nice fur blanket and/or some pillows add a warm and rich element to any room. I’ve been drooling over these Mongolian fur pillows. And this blanket makes its way all throughout our house. I still plan on snagging this huge chunky knit blanket some time this fall. Adding one to a sofa or chair instantly adds coziness to any space.

(The things we do to get that toes!!!)

I’m also going to tell you my money-saving candle secret… I often buy my candles at Ikea. They’re around $5 and under (depending on the size). I typically purchase several of all sizes so that I don’t feel like I have to save your candles for the evenings or weekends. You should see my candle drawer!

I also love oil diffusers. I pretty much let both my candles and diffuser burn pretty all day and evening. These are perfect for pet owners. How to Incorporate Fall Into Your HomeHow to Incorporate Fall Into Your HomeHow to Incorporate Fall Into Your HomeHow to Incorporate Fall Into Your HomeHow to Incorporate Fall Into Your Home3. Add a wreath – It doesn’t have to be on the front door. Don’t get me wrong, I also love a front door wreath, but there are all kinds of beautiful decorative wreaths you can hang in your home (temporarily or permanently) along with several DIY ones. I found the one below from At Home. I absolutely LOVE this store because they always have the best holiday home decor selection!

4. Make yourself a cocktail and enjoy your work. I love fruity drinks in the summer, but as soon as the calendar says FALL, I’m all for a great fall-inspired cocktail…such as these recipes I shared with you. Purity Vodka is my only vodka go-to. It’s not like any other vodka. It is full-bodied, complex and loaded with character yet, smooth and sophisticated. Purity Vodka is the result of a master blender’s quest to develop and produce the world’s finest ultra premium vodka. After a decade of redefining the recipe for Purity Vodka, the multi-awarded Master Blender Thomas Kuuttanen has succeeded in his quest to redefine vodka; developing a vodka different from all others with maximum character and a smooth, full-bodied taste.

But what I love best about Purity Vodka is that it’s organic and gluten-free! Truth: I’ve always had issues with my sinuses draining BADLY after having a drink made with vodka that would last for hours. It used to take me forever to fall asleep because of whatever ingredient I am allergic to in other vodkas. And trust me, I’ve had all kinds and brands of vodka. But this one, I’ve NEVER had that issue…which is why I continue to work with this brand of vodka. Oh, and did I mention they’re a GREEN COMPANY?!?

What is better than a blanket and a nice cocktail made with Purity Vodka? Not a thing. Especially while watching the season premiere of Black-ish…I am so addicted to that show!

Be on the lookout for me adding more post to my Home category soon. I’m working on our Memphis home and can’t wait for Holiday decorating.

Quick note: I also think adding decorative birch branches (like these), cranberry branches (Trader Joe’s always has them!), and white or gray pumpkins can be great fall touches. For the bedroom, swapping out the quilt at the foot of the bed and tossing in some fur pillows can be nice touches too.

Would love to hear any of your favorite ways to subtly decorate for fall without breaking the bank! Thank you so much for reading . And as always, have a beautiful day!

    • October 10, 2017 / 11:20 am

LoL. I’m actually from Memphis and am here quite a bit. So instead of bumming out with family members, we just decided to go ahead and added a second home. And the Vodka bottle is absolutely GAWGEOUS!!!! I’ve always thought it looked like a diamond. And to think they just changed it!!!

Singapore has no fall ? I love the autumn maple leaves, but for Singapore, all we have are drizzle, rain and thunderstorms! It’s a great idea to incorporate fall into home though~
