I haven’t done a makeup post in year (last summer – see that post here) and figured it was about time for one. LONGGGGG overdue!!! Instead of listing all my favorite makeup products, I decided to beat my face (as best as I could) with products purchased mostly at a local beauty supply store. Just so you know, I am veering more and more towards these products. I find that you can pretty much find what you need. These budget products are very comparable to the high-end stuff: They’re hypo-allergenic and there are an array of shades and colors…whether you’re looking for eyeshadows, lipsticks/lip glosses, blush, foundations, eyeliner, everything! The best thing is budget beauty products are so very wallet-friendly!
To achieve this look, I used products from Nicka K, Absolute, Hard Candy, NYX, Ruby Kisses, Maybelline, and Beautique.
Hard Candy Pore-Defense Primer Serum
Urban Decay After Glow Blush
Nicka K Metallic RADIANT Eye Palette
Absolute Perfect Twenty-Two Colors Eye Palette in RENAISSANCE
Nicka K Radiant Liquid Eye Shadow in GALACTIC BLUE
NYX HD Studio Concealer in CW04
NYX Tinted Brow Mascara
Maybelline FitMe Matte + Poreless Powder in 235
Maybelling\e Mega Plush Volumn Mascara
KISS Hollywood Lashes Envy #02
Beautique Jumbo Lip Crayon in I MAUVE YOU
I’m not the greatest when it comes to makeup. I definitely wish I had the skills of a professional makeup artist because I LOVE makeup and am always buying products. It is very much so a beautiful skill that I would love to learn. I love seeing all the pins posted on Pinterest of all the achievable looks that I CAN’T achieve. All I can do is do what little I can do! The one thing I REALLY wish I could master is the cat-eye. I can just never really seem to get it right.
Also, I will be posting a makeup post monthly. I figure I could use the practice as well as showing you different looks. Is this something you would be interested in? Let me know!
If you’re into makeup, are you more of a high-end user, budget-friendly buy, or a wonderful mixture of the two? And if you’re not really that into makeup, I think purchasing products from your local beauty supply store is a great place to start without breaking the bank, right?
Well, thank you so much for stopping by. I love having you here. And as always, have a beautiful day.
