Friday’s Five

~Orange tree doing its thing in the middle of winter~~ Tried to take Holiday photos of Baby Sophia a few weeks ago, but she wasn’t having it! Maybe next year…~~A little late BUT the yummiest Holiday cookies from Whimsy Cookie Co in Memphis~~Finally set time aside and got my 2017 editorial calendar completed. Not as hard as I thought.~~Reminiscing back to our Holiday in Brazil. Can’t wait to see you again next year.~

I hope everyone had a really great week. Mine was filled with tweeking my blog and social media accounts. I didn’t realize being truly serious and dedicated to making a blog the best you can could be so time consuming…and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it.

I’m not posting as much as I’d like…only because I’m spending a lot of time researching. Yes, I could get a designer to do everything for me, but I opted not to…only because I knew I wanted to learn the ins and outs of blogging. And that includes the technical stuff. So far, it’s been pretty interesting. But once I get everything the way I need for it to be (hopefully within a couple of weeks), I can get to blogging on a consistent schedule.

Next week, I will be trying a new photographer and really excited about that. I follow many bloggers, but there are about 4 or 5 of them who always have the most amazing photos. Not that their photos have special effects or out of this world or anything. They are basic photos but with great clarity & color and captures the best of them. And that’s what I want for my blog. I want to give you great photos and content. So if you would be just a bit patient with me, I promise you it’s coming.

This weekend in Atlanta (and a large portion of the States), they’re calling for rain, sleet, and snow. So I’m sure it will be a relaxing, cozy, and PJ-wearing weekend for us. Thinking about it, I guess I should head to the grocery store like everyone else and pick up a few essentials and comfort food (most important).

What are your plans for the weekend? Whatever you do, be safe and happy and totally enjoy yourself.

Oh, and don’t forget to enter to win the $200 Starbucks Gift Card here (ending January 11, 2017).

And as always, thank you for stopping by!

I want an orange tree! The oranges at the store are cost a small fortune and are not as sweet as usual this season.

That was one of three oranges my plant produced. I recently re-potted it in a larger container. So hopefully it will produce more the next time. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
